How these tools are designed

Each tool is intentionally narrow. It asks for a small set of choices, gives a plain-language result, and points readers back to a human review step. The tools are not meant to replace workplace policy, legal review, privacy review, or source checking.

The tools work best when readers use public, fictional, or sanitized examples first. If the task involves customer, employee, student, medical, legal, financial, security, or confidential business data, the safer choice is to use an approved tool and follow the relevant policy before sharing any real information.

Privacy note

The tools on this site run in your browser. They do not require account sign-in and do not send your selections to The AI Explainer.
